Home & Away’s Next Evolutionary Storyline Step
This is a think-piece (all opinions in this are mine unless tagged otherwise), & something I’ve pondered for some time now. So whilst I’m sitting in the Library trying to figure out which WIP to work on (probably the soap I created at 14 years old, in 2002, that's now in its 75th year*) but for now, I’ll purge this thought before I lose it. With the cancellation of Neighbours (& I loved Annalise hinting at this soap as an area ‘just outside of Sydney that has managed to avoi

My (current) Top 5 Fav Soaps
This was an answer I wrote on Quora to a question about favourite soaps , so I figured, why not add it on here as well. Preface: this answer does change quite often so as of today's publication date, 22-Feb-2026, this is how it stands. 5. For longevity, & general love - Coronation Street Image Source : I chose the 2010 cast photo as this is the era in which I fully committed to this soap. I do love this one, though it’s currently not my fav, but it’s up there, & one I do kee

Arvo Daytime Soap Operas
How did the 3:30 PM time slot affect the success of soap operas? I can only speak to this as an Australian viewer, and from my recollection, there were only ever two US American soap operas airing around that timeframe — Passions , and The Bold & the Beautiful (fellow Aussies, please correct me if I’m wrong, though I’m speaking from the 2000s onwards). Passions Now, in Australia, Passions aired on Channel 7 at 3pm, so many of us would get home from school and see the bonker

The Car Park Explosion No One Reported On
03 February 2026 TL;DR: Around midday on Saturday, 31 January, a small, contained explosion occurred in a vehicle at the Coopers Plains Library car park, injuring its owner - a man in his late 50s -with investigators finding nothing suspicious after more than six hours of testing. Image taken by me on said date. **** Disclaimer : This is my first hand account of what occurred on Saturday, 31 January 2026. This post has been made to: • raise awareness of mental health and how

Should Stu Return in Scream 7
TL;DR: Bringing Stu Macher back in Scream 7 would be a fundamental betrayal of what the franchise is and has always stood for. & here's why I think this: Stu is not ambiguously dead. Scream (1996) goes out of its way to make his death definitive: · He’s stabbed multiple times to the point he’s profusely bleeding – to which he explicitly states that he thinks he’s dying, · He then continues to fight Sidney — which would tear said wounds open even more. · He

Sherlock Hund (Dog Tracer) - End Credits
For years, I had a TV song from a 90s cartoon show stuck in my head (& if you've Googled any sort of lyrics trying to find where it came from then you're not alone. & if you're looking for this one in particular, then here it is): “I’m in love with a big pink poodle, He’s my man and he cooks me strudel, Calls me sugar, sweet as candy, He gets very nasty cause he’s my baby, When the night falls, I take him for a walk, He follows my footsteps, Ain’t no need to talk.” Transcript
