Why did I create this?
Firstly, hello and welcome to my fascinations. My name is Joel Barkus. I'm Anglo-Aboriginal-Torres Strait Islander.
And in 2001, at the age of 13, I started writing my very own Soap Opera. I also moved to a small former mining town that year which gave me ample time to develop the characters, the setting, and the storylines. Since then all I've ever wanted to do was write. With this - especially with creating worlds - I do appreciate an accurate depiction, which is why the art of research is what I feel to be the most important aspect of it all. Now, with that said, sometimes I research other things unrelated to the worlds I create. Now, I'd like to retain this information somewhere. So let this place be where my procrastination lines.
